Each Little Twig puzzle begins the same way they always have in my workshop with a simple idea and a stack of solid wood. The pieces are cut, sanded smooth, and finished by hand so they feel good to touch and hold. No two puzzles are exactly alike, even within the same tier.
This tier is designed for open ended, everyday play. Children can sort by color, rotate and flip pieces to solve the puzzle, or take the pieces out entirely and use them for building and pretend play. There is no single right way to use it, and that is intentional.
